Dear
Briarwood Pet Sitting Clients and Sitters;
This has been an amazing year here at Briarwood Pet Sitting, Inc..
We continue to grow in leaps and bounds. We've added a few star
pet sitters and expanded our territory ever so slightly to include
more of the east and north Dallas areas. We continue to enjoy your
positive feedback and referrals. We hope that the care we provide
the family you leave behind continues to meet and exceed your expectations.
Thank you to all of you for making Briarwood Pet Sitting, Inc. a
huge success!
As we grew and expanded this past year the need for an administrative
person arose. In August Erin Hurley was brought on to manage the
office and did a good job getting us more organized with confirmations,
billing and updating profiles with new notes for some of you. She
has now graduated from SMU and will be pursuing her full time career
- we wish her luck as I'm sure those of you who had the opportunity
to deal with her do too. That leaves us with an opening for an administrative
assistant if anyone out there knows of someone who is extremely
detail oriented and wants to work minimal hours a few days a week.
One of our most exciting announcements is the rollout of Power Pet
Sitter software. We will be migrating everyone over to Power Pet
Sitter this next month. We hope it isn't too inconvenient and appreciate
all of your feedback (good and bad) and want to make ourselves available
to answer any questions while the process moves forward. Some of
the most exciting things about this new system are the ability for
you, the client, to schedule your own pet sits; the ability to see
that you are confirmed; the ability to enter the system at anytime
to change or update your information; and you will receive automated
email confirmations before your sits have started for peace of mind.
It will be bumpy as we adjust to the new system but I assure you
all it's a great move for all of us and it will make scheduling
a pet sit and updating your information much easier than the current
process. So thank you in advance for learning this new software
with us!! (If you would like to get started please go to <http://www.briarwoodpets.com>www.briarwoodpets.com
and click on "Login" then go to the bottom where it says
"Click her to register" and follow the steps - there is
no need to call the office first for a user name and password.)
I'd also like to thank our fabulous, loving, loyal, awesome, amazing
(okay, I could go on forever) pet sitters. Chuck Berkhimer, Brook
Boyd, Sarah Mitchell, Lindsey Whisenhunt and (formerly) Erin Hurley
for doing the job of eight people and continuing to provide amazing
service to over 330 Briarwood Pet Sitting, Inc. clients. So, THANK
YOU!!
As you can see we are short a few sitters so if you know of anyone
who would be a good fit and wants to join the best team in Dallas
please feel free to point them in my direction. Hiring is the hardest
thing I face day to day. I would never want to compromise in that
area and because of that we remain under staffed most of the time.
It's so hard to find people who are honest, loyal, responsible,
and good with pets - but I keep at it every day.
And in future news - we will be expanding further into East Dallas
as one of our sitters, Sarah Mitchell, becomes a Managing Partner
of Briarwood Pet Sitting, Inc. and will be heading up a new division
of the company. Her new division will go much farther east then
we currently cover and will help build the model to take the company
further out into DFW and then possibly franchise into the rest of
the US. Sarah will be responsible for building up that territory
so if you know of anyone who may need a pet sitter over there we'd
love the referral!
In closing, I want to again thank all of you for trusting us with
your beloved animals and homes. It's the greatest compliment of
all when you call to schedule service - ever reminding us that we
are doing a good job in your eyes and that you pick us over our
competition. Our goal is your happiness and from what we can see
it seems to be working. If ever though you do want to let us know
where we can improve, please don't hesitate to do so. We appreciate
the opportunity to improve.
I wish all of you Peace and Love in the new year.
Warmest Regards,
Heather Erdmann
