Briarwood Pet Sitting was founded by Heather Erdmann in 2002. After years as a traveling sales manager Heather decided there was a great need in Dallas for good pet sitters. Briarwood Pet Sitting allows pet owners to vacation, travel for work, work long hours, or spend hours away from home and not feel guilty because we’re there when you can’t be.

Whether you travel extensively or are gone long hours (or can’t get Spot outside as much as you’d like) we can help. You can have peace of mind knowing that your pets are in our loving, responsible, reliable care.

Pet sitting is a very low stress solution for your pets. Did you know that it’s low stress for you too? You don’t have to drop them off, pick them up, worry about the hours of the facility, treat any illnesses they may get while they’re there… etc.. All you do with us is call. You’re happy. Fifi’s happy.

Charles "Chuck" Berkhimer is a wonderful pet sitter. He consistently goes above and beyond the call of duty and has a soft spot for elderly and ill pets. He proves to be very patient with all dogs and cats and works towards making friends with every one of them he cares for. He has been know to win over lots of shy dogs and cats. Chuck lives in Dallas and until recently was a semi-retired corporate conference planner. We are happy to have him full time.

Lindsey Whisenhunt comes to us as a Texas Board Certified Vet Technician (June, 2004). Before working with Briarwood Pet Sitting, Inc. she was a vet tech at Park Cities Animal Hospital. Previously she also worked as a technician at Waxahachie Veterinary Clinic and Lovers Lane Animal Hospital. She familiar with all aspects of vet care. Lindsey works with us currently full time and enjoys all types of pets and situations. She is happy to be on the go and loves seeing animals that she met at either of the local vets while she was working there.
